I work from my studio at home in Surrey, alongside being a mum of twin boys. I'm always looking for inspiration in the local woodlands, where I am most days with my two golden retrievers. I'm captivated with the seasons and delight in the emerging nature each change brings. I'm animal obsessed and love incorporating all creatures great and small into my illustrations.
I graduated in 2000 with a BA Hons in 'Natural History Illustration & Information Design'. I then worked in London for 13 years as a Graphic Designer and Art Director both in-house, as a freelancer and as a business owner. I moved out to leafy Surrey to raise my lovely boys. I've come full circle and am now embracing my illustration life again, alongside freelance graphic work. I also have an Etsy shop where I sell fun, fact-filled prints for kids.
I have a flat, graphical, colourful style that is perfectly suited to cheerful and fun illustrations. I love to make the complex simple and always try to tell a story or include elements to make people smile.
